About the Recipe

This is a great meal prep or easy evening recipe to get set up in the slow cooker and then forget about until dinner time.

Ingredients

  • 1.5-2kg Pork Shoulder

  • 2 tbsp Paprika

  • 1 tsp Oregano

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1 tsp Pepper

  • ½ tsp Cumin

  • 1 Onion, diced

  • 4 Garlic Cloves, chopped

  • 1 Orange, juiced

  • ½ cup Apple Cider Vinegar

Preparation

Step One

Place the diced onions, garlic, vinegar and orange juice in the slow cooker.


Step Two

Rub the pork shoulder with the paprika, oregano, salt, pepper and cumin and place in the slow cooker.


Step Three

Turn the cooker on to low and cook for 8 hours.


Step Four

Once the pork is fully cooked remove it from the cooker and use two forks to shred the meat.


Step Five

Serve as a sandwich in between buns or with a side of Corn Fritters.
